"Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do,
you will save both yourself and your hearers." - 1 Timothy 4:16
• Son Rise Christian Fellowship has been formed as a fellowship of believers in the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to know Christ, be conformed to His image as prescribed in the Holy Scriptures, and make Him known through our living example and the proclamation of His Holy Word.
• We believe that there is one God who is eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the Trinity.
• We believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the Cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended to heaven, and will return for a second time.
• We believe that all people are by nature separated from God and responsible for their own sin. However, God has provided a solution for sin through the vicarious atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
• We believe that the true basis of Christian fellowship is a living trust through faith alone, by grace alone, and in Christ alone.
• We believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, in their original writings, are the inspired and infallible Word of God.
• We believe God has gifted His church with able men in order to equip, or prepare, His people for works of service. Son Rise Christian Fellowship believes that the expositional teaching of God’s Word is sufficient for such preparation. As a result, the Bible is systematically taught book by book and verse by verse. Through such teaching our hope is that each individual will become mature in the Faith and equipped for Christian service.
• We believe singing praise to God is a part of worship, and plays a significant role at Son Rise, however, it is only one aspect of worship. Therefore, at Son Rise we worship God through the sacrifice of our time, talent and earthly treasures.
• In regard to peripheral Christian doctrine, we believe that the Bible leaves room for disagreement and should never cause a division within the Body of Christ. (Romans 14:1)
